Karma and Destiny, these to concepts always appeared as most contradictory to me. I always was confused, which has precedence over other. People say that what ever happens is the prewritten and this is destiny which is inevitable. Be it good or bad, nothing matters in front of destiny. On the other hand Karma is told to be the only way out to get things done and one can attain literally any thing by the virtue of Karma.
Now hearing both the versions, I was confused whether I should rely upon destiny which is certain like evening and morning or should I rely upon Karma, which should take me to my destination. But dilemma is, if I do Karma for something which is not in my destiny, where that effort would go? And my Karma should yield me no results for all my endeavours.
Then I must put my efforts only where my destiny has plans for me, but How would I know that way, as destiny only has a past record but doesn’t offer any clue for the future. To understand all this, I am sharing my view point with you.
In life when we reach a place from where we must choose a way, Life puts us on the entrance of a definite way for which we have been chosen. The ultimate goal is to reach to the end of the road, where one would attain Moksha.
Now on the way, life has placed many rewards for us, and by different means, we are told that this reward is suitable for you, now if we listen to the silence, we try to achieve that particular reward. We never know whether we will find it by walking few steps or we would need thousands such steps. If we opt to get it, we start walking towards it. Here again destiny comes into play, for some people, this reward is available in short distance and for others it might be placed at a distant place.
So people who find it early become happy and call themselves lucky while others are called strugglers who have to work hard for the same reward. Here since the rewards is in our destiny, we can get, but a mandatory condition is Karma, through which we can get the desired stuff. Entire process of achieving the reward is powered by Karma. There also exists people who do not give it a try even, they feel that if they do not get it easily, it was not in their destiny and they move ahead without Karma.
Such people are sheer unfortunate, because nature had whispered about the reward in their ears but they were not okay with Karma, so they decided to blame destiny and leave empty handed in spite of the fact that they could own that achievement.
So what I feel is that Destiny gives us a blank looking canvas to paint. In fact nature had already scribbled the picture on it, and only left colours to be filled. People who believe and follow Karma, can see those outlines and fill the colours to create a beautiful painting, on the other hand, people who stay relied on destiny can not find these subtle outlines and unfortunately, they return the canvas back to nature with millions of blames of complains.
Its all up to you, which category do you choose. The thing to be remembered is that if you struggle some where and others conquer easily, the table will definitely turn, so stay optimistic and keep following Karma which is the only way that leads to ALMIGHTY.

The crux of the matter is that wherever you are – you are always at the perfect place and your idea of life must be to do your best honestly because that’s where your good deeds are counted. Never rue that you are not where you could be or should be. Just ensure that you do your best at present place and present moment. Leave rest to life. It’s intelligent enough to keep you rightly placed.
